One of these books Hernán recommended me. I am not sure why it took me so long to read considering that he always recommended books I adored afterwards. No difference here, I just thought that it was written by a Spaniard in the twenties or thirties. But finally it was about a story situated in the Spanish Civil War. I also learned about the Falange, a political, or more ideological movement in Spain. The story is about a writer, philosopher who co-founded the Falange. By some good luck he survives and writes down his experiences, which contrasts with his ideology.
A writer with a writers block starts to investigate and visits the people who met him.
… it is an absolutely fabulous novel.
