I had some great laughs listening to the audiobook version. But I could imagine it is not for everybody since it is completely over the top. The protagonist met almost all important leaders (most dictators) of the 20th century. Actually only Stalin is really unlikeable.

The story is set in Sweden and is about the life and adventures of our hero Allan Karlsson who on his hundredth birthday climbed out the window of his old people’s home and disappeared.
