by Jewgeni Jewtuschenko
The book is announced as the key novel about the Russian society in the nineties. It is more than that! In reality he describes the entire life of each main character until the the days of the coup in 1992, when all of them meet each other. He evokes so well what it was to live in a socialist country: the absence of freedom and when freedom arrives people use their freedom just for the most trivial things. Besides the politics it is full of love stories, between the many the four loves of the author.
It is a long novel , you can entertain yourself for long time. I could -re-read it already
