The perfect novel. I did not know him before but I have to read more of his work. Summarising, it is a novel about love, dependency and the big controversy between the artist and the pragmatic. But in this plot it turns out that the artist is at the same time not very generous and the pragmatic is able to infinite love, or may better: to strongest feelings.What is good or bad is not defined, actually it comes in many disguises.
The pragmatic has to realise there might be inexplicable phenomena in the world. he learns it in the hardest way. The pure has to learn about its ugliest side – and there is no escape. The artist and magician learns about his limits. The unhappy lover sticks to the man of her life – knowing and accepting she is only second option.
This is all about real life in a very artistic way. I have to read him in English! Strange, I really have the desire to talk to this author. Maybe I can recreate him in a spiritual session. 🙂 – Just a reference to the book itself.
